Derived from Prelude, Fugue and Allegro for I Nyoman Astita, written by Boo-boo Sianturi.
To name but a few, I Nyoman Astita (known as Komang), is one of the most important and highly revered Balinese musicians and composers of his generation; innovative, daring in his Kreasi, and a humble being who has contributed immensely to the development of contemporary music at home in Indonesia and abroad through his Balinese roots. Komang's composition known as Gema Eka Dasa Rudra (1979) was considered the turning point of the development of contemporary music in Balinese Karawitan. Other great works followed such as Semara Winangun (1979), Uma Sadina (1980), Kotekan (1986), Paksi Ngelayang (1990), Cempaka Kuning (2013).

In commemoration of Namarina Dance Academy's 60th Anniversary, the 3-movement piece was chosen to be part of the Intra-Art collaborative performance entitled Tradikal, alongside Namarina Youth Dance company and several visual artists based in Jakarta, Indonesia.
Continuing in the spirit of INTRASIA (2010, 2013); the cross-cultural collaborative clinic for mutual enrichment organised by the Sacred Bridge Foundation, we and many other artists feel that it is time to awaken this concept in the new era.
During the uncertainty of our times, in particular, due to the outbreak and externalities of Covid-19, our senses have instilled the need to revive the spirit of the Intra-Art Collaboration. The urgency to be creative is greater than ever, not only for us to be able to survive, but also to reflect on our journey thus far, to seek creative solutions to our current challenges utilising art as a social interaction medium, as well as a means of healing and renewing the creative force in human life.

The collected donation from this release will not only benefit the artists, but also the rest of the crew, both onstage and offstage. The future outcomes of the Intra-Art revival project will depend on the situation on the ground, regarding the local social distancing rules, so for now, all proceeds will go towards the revival initiation process, and the making of a film documentary for educational purposes. We are also aiming to present the new production in live streaming and pre-recorded formats in the near future
